this is a late edo period Akasaka tsuba with a very nice design and steel color, this tsuba is not papered so priced right for the collector to get started.

A really good tsuba with very fine kebori and perfect motif, with the smaller histu-ana and the tagane marks. I would put this tsuba to 4th or 5th. This is really a very good tsuba for you collection and one of the better ones I have had from this generation(s).
